Action Bronson Pop-Up
Williamsburg // 12.17

He raps, he hosts, he cooks, he wrestles, and now… he bakes. The Swiss Army Knife of a man Action Bronson will be at La Bicyclette Bakery in Williamsburg on Saturday starting at 11AM. He’ll be dropping his latest culinary mixtape; bureks filled with burrata and olives, or chorizo and bechamel, topped with his single-origin Grove and Vine olive oil. A dish drop and a mic drop all in one. Tap the mic below for all the info.

Banchannukah
Williamsburg // 12.18

What’s the drop?
Korean pop-up Banchan by Sunny is celebrating Hannukah with mosaics of Korean-Jewish fusion this Sunday. Oxtail radish matzo ball guk hybridizes traditional Korean and Jewish soups. Kimchi latkes with smoked trout roe, sour cream and applesauce combine marquee Jewish and Korean side dishes into one. This is a chance to dive head first into bowls of rare flavor; the epitome of why we love New York food. Tap the menorah below for all the info.

New World Bakery Pop-Up
Brooklyn // 12.17

What’s the drop?
Master baker, author of New World Sourdough, and Best in Dough judge Bryan Ford will be opening New World Bakery in 2023. But first, he will debut the Latin American-influenced bakery concept on Saturday at Nimbus with Medialunas, golfeados (pictured), and pastelitos. This is a chance to gaze into the future of the New York bakery scene. Tap the pastry below for all the info.

Kreung Cambodia x Ensenada
Williamsburg // 12.19-12.21

What’s the drop?
Ensenada was just named one of Eater critic Ryan Sutton’s Best Restaurants of 2022, distinguished by some of the city’s best fish tacos. It is also a prolific host for pop-ups, and this coming Monday-Wednesday, Chef Chinchakriya Un of pop-up Kreung Cambodia will collab with Ensenada Executive Chef Luis Herrera for a seasonal a-la-carte menu. Specifics of the menu haven’t yet been released but the prospect of Cambodian food intertwining with coastal Latin American fare has us smashing the Resy. Tap the Cambodian flag below for all the info.

Goan Christmas Dinner
Gramercy // 12.19

What’s the drop?
India’s Goa province is deeply rooted in Portuguese influence and on Monday, Chef George Mendes of Veranda Soho will collab with Sona’s Culinary Director Hari Nayak for a 3-course family style dinner featuring festive dishes of the region. Dishes will include Portuguese shrimp turnovers, stuffed squid curry, seafood croquettes, Portuguese fish stew, chorizo pulao, and peri peri eggplant. This seafood-heavy menu could give you an early taste of The Feast of the Seven Fishes a little early this year. Tap the Christmas Tree below for all the info.

Leon’s Smash Burgers

Australian smashburger sensation Leon’s Smash Burgers is touring America right now and he stopped by Ray’s Bar in the LES last Saturday to smash with the best of the best, the Gotham Smash Burger Pop-up. Leon’s CD-rom-thin patties made for the crispiest of smash burgers, but it somehow maintained its juiciness, stacked with an ensemble of American cheese, grilled onions, and special sauce. West coast readers, stay tuned. Leon’s next pop-up will be at Boomtown Brewery in LA on Saturday 12.17.
