An NFT, or a non-fungible token, can be thought of as a digital certificate of ownership, authenticity and uniqueness for anything. Ownership of an NFT proves that a certain digital asset, such as a 8it-Edible NFT, a piece of digital art, an item inside a game, or even a music or a video, belongs to you and only you, guaranteed by the power of the blockchain.
-
The value of an NFT comes from the property it represents, which is generally something that exists in the digital world like an original piece of art or something tied to a benefit in the physical world - like attending a Pizza Party and getting access to merch!
The NFT itself doesn’t necessarily contain the digital property, but points to its location on the blockchain. Like a concert ticket or a deed to a physical property, an NFT reflects the value of the thing it represents.
-
Traditional works of art such as paintings are valuable because they are one of a kind. But digital files can be easily and endlessly duplicated. With NFTs, artwork can be “tokenised” to create a digital certificate of ownership that can be bought and sold. As with crypto-currency, a record of who owns what is stored on a shared ledger known as the blockchain.
The records cannot be forged because the ledger is maintained by thousands of computers around the world and thus is provably unique and cannot be faked or copied.
-
NFTs aren’t cryptocurrencies, but they are built using technology similar to Ethereum and Bitcoin. Also, like cryptocurrencies, NFTs exist on a blockchain, which verifies their unique identity and ownership. The blockchain also keeps a record of all the transactions connected to the NFT and the property it represents.

In order make things simple, we have partnered with Crypto.com. When time, you will be able to go to the link and buy your NFT simply using your credit card. You’ll need to create a Crypto.com NFT account to do so. We recommend it getting setup before the drop so that you don’t miss out in case the NFT sells out!
-
There will be a minimum of 500 NFTs. Each will cost $250.
-
The Pizza Party will take place roughly a week to 10 days after the pizza drop at a ‘to be disclosed’ location in downtown Manhattan. You will need to be holding the PIZZA PARTY NFT to enter the party. While we promise to accommodate everyone, the party will be first come first serve, so we suggest getting to the location early!
The location will be revealed in our Discord and Socials post Drop.
-
After the drop, you will receive an email with a form to input your NFT edition + address to redeem the merch item. We will ship the merch item directly to your submitted address.

Simplicity + Environmentally friendliness. Every NFT is not the same. Using Crypto.com also helps here as the Crypto.com chain (CRO) is a proof-of-stake system, which uses a very tiny amount of energy compared to ethereum. Also, we wanted to allow anyone to be able to purchase this NFT easily using a credit card. That is why we are partnering with Crypto.com for this drop.
-
No. It will be available on the Crypto.com marketplace.

NFTs allow us to represent our fandom in ways that have never existed below. Simply speaking, NFTs allow us to immortalize the fact that someone actually ate a limited edition food item. More importantly, it allows us to bring people together through “proof-of-eating”. Imagine being able to connect with others who ate a very specific slice at your favorite restaurant easily. Now imagine this all over the globe. Then imagine a chef being easily able to talk to fans of his food and able to provide benefits and early access as he creates new things. This is the power that NFTs provide, and this is what we want to build with Edible NFTs. This is just the start of a long journey to connect people through the foods they love and reward them for collecting edible NFTs in their digital belly.
